These are some oddly specific details...
Except the details are wrong..he said LR arrived back at 1:27...OU practiced Thursday morning..

He could know those deets if he or someone very close to him was the person who drove Riley to and from the airport…

Every flight has to file a flight plan, there wasn't 1 flight from Norman to BR Thursday...Also, the poster obviously didn't know OU practices in the morning because he said LR was in early and left early and returned back to Norman about 1:27 PM...It would be impossible for LR to go to practice, get ready, go to the airport, fly to BR and get back by 1:27...Not calling him a liar but he is wrong on this...

I don’t want him but it’s Jimbo.
Correct, unless Riley reconsiders but Riley isn’t leaving in the middle of a playoff run. I think Riley being given a time table is incorrect. Either you’re willing to wait until his season is over or you’re moving forward if they are wanting to have someone in place within the next 3-4 weeks.

I don't see how Jimbo isn't in the mix with his lack of buyout.

I get the buyout talking point, but when is the last time a buyout stopped a school from hiring a coach? Dabo's $45 million buyout or whatever for Alabama is basically one of a kind. No other good coach with leverage has a buyout like that. I don't know why Dabo even agreed to it in the first place. It's not like Clemson was going to let him go over it.
The real buyout for Fisher is that he has $95 million guaranteed through 2030 or something very close to that. Woodward could probably offer him $100 million through 2029, but ATM would match that, and they are giving him basically unlimited funding for facilities and assistants and I read yesterday they are giving a bunch of money to his charity for kids that have the same illness as his son.
I think Fisher would recruit lights out and win a championship or multiple championships at LSU, but nothing is guaranteed and there is always some amount of risk when you make a change. Ultimately it comes down whether Fisher is going to abandon a situation where he has it made, without getting a raise, just to work with his buddy Woodward again. I don't think he will do that. In fact, I suspect the overture was already made by Woodward, and that's why Fisher got a raise and extension right before the season.

He'll never win a championship at ATM.

You're probably right but wait for all the "insiders" to show up and tell you that Jimbo hates all the ATM administration and he hates it there. Never heard that narrative until he was mentioned for the LSU job. Imagine that?!
