My thought is this ... at which point is it not about money anymore and the fricking guy would just rather coach the LSU tigers vs the ok soooners?

If LSU is offering 12.5 and OU comes back at 10, that means Riley would be leaving 20 on the table over 8 yrs. That’s a lot of money to pass on. If LSU is also giving a large chunk for assistants that satisfies Riley, then it’s definitely not about money. That type of money would be hard to walk away from.

How realistic is it that some of this stuff is drummed up to bring traffic and money to TD? frick… what am I doing? I’m doubting myself now. I don’t know what to believe at this point

But start one about having a source that says Riley is the man, and you have those same 100 posters eating out of your palm saying "I TOTALLY BELIEVE YOU!"
I have no idea who the hire will be, but I'm enjoying watching the rollercoaster of emotions and cognitive dissonance here. I'm also enjoying watching everyone fall into the same fake insider traps as 2015 and 2016.

Some of y’all take this far too seriously. Yes it’s childish how we react to ‘sources’ but god forbid people enjoy the process when everyone else across the country is melting about the possibility of Riley in BR.

I don’t think Riley is playing Woodward. There was an agreement under the table but wasn’t signed. Riley and Woodward have been in talks since early October. He legitimately is intrigued.
