The BOS has to approve a contract in an open meeting. Now they could have come to an understanding and signed an MOU but a contract hasn’t been signed

That is true. BOS is the final arbiter of a contract (not the clown you elected governor). But it can be done in a closed executive session, then memorialized publicly at a later date.

Right.

It was reported by OM media that Knox was in Oxford at his football practice today, for starters.

Lane would have complete control of coaching decisions. I'd imagine he'd consider bringing Golding who is from Hammond.

Great attempt at a troll but....Calling BS! LOL..... U High can not offer NIL, it would be a violation on LHSAA policy And this "compiting" high school is apparently catholic High which has publicly confirmed Knox has not been to campus nor has anyone from the school had any contact with the family.

Knox to Uhigh is real with him enrolling after Thanksgiving break as an NIL offer was presented to the family that wasn't matched from a competing high school in the Baton Rouge area.

This is so dumb and invalidates everything after it.

Would this be a violation of LHSAA rules? His stats are pretty good at Oxford High for not being a starter.

It's not a violation of LHSAA policy. They voted that high school kids can receive NIL. Google is your friend.
