Who he hires is irrelevant, if he doesn't get out of the way and let him coach.
I'm sick to my stomach having to say this about the LSU head coach. The only reason I decided not to constantly bitch about Orgeron being hired was because I didn't think this would be an issue anymore. Seems I was wrong.
I don't want to get my hopes up over any hire, until it happens. And even if I like the hire, I'll still hold my breath, and hope Orgeron doesn't "do what he wants to do."

I actually like Canada as an OC but I can see why some may be dissapointed. I felt the same way about Miles as a head coach (actually, even moreso, in terms of liking him as a coach) but understood the desire to move on. My misgivings were in who we might replace him with and I was underwhelmed by the hire of Orgeron. Briles, on the other hand, would likely be a step up or at least a lateral move into a different type of offense.
