The blur offense isn’t really innovative anymore. Chip was never an X’s and O’s wizard, he just went really fast and was on the cutting edge of training and recovery technology. Now everyone does that stuff.

And he was never much of a recruiter.

With their alumni base UCLA has to have NIL money out the arse if they chose to use it.

Stupid move by UCLA. Give him another year.

He's been there 6 seasons. Big breakthrough probably isn't coming.

That's going to happen next year too.

Chip Kelly was the first to find the loop holes in the substitute rules and developed his "fast break" system that was virtually undefendable. Once coaches figured it out, Kelly was off to the NFL.

Problem is, he doesn’t even run the fast paced and hasn’t since Oregon. He abandoned what made him siccessful

To the guy that suggested Kiffin:

Ole Miss to UCLA is a lateral move.

They are currently 23rd and 24th in talent composite.

UCLA has to deal with USC, Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, and Washington in the B1G. It's softer than the new look sec but not much so.

He'd probably have to take a significant paycut as well.

Jedd Fisch or Jonathan Smith are the obvious targets here. If they strike out, they might just promote D'Anton Lynn as well as he's by far the best coach on that staff.

Oregon finished #2 in the country his last season there. Not many coaches had figured it out when he left.

If true, this is a job I believe Kiffin would take. If UCLA makes the financial commitment to win I think Kiffin would take it.

I am not so sure it all depends on his daughters.

If Lane leaves, Chip would be a major upgrade.

Maybe over Kelly at LSU.

I could see Kingsbury at UCLA. He just seems like a LA kind of guy.

Wouldn't that be a perfect fit for either Arkansas or Texas A&M?
