Bruce Feldman, who has connections, and is usually legit, says Riley isn’t coming. Then, Rece Davis, Bama graduate who has some connections there, says it’s Bill O’Brien.

Rece gets a text that says “BOB talking to LSU” and he extrapolates that to mean that it’s serious and there’s reciprocal interest. I can confirm to you that LSU has no interest in hiring BOB.

this assumes either of these guys have real info. No one truly knows what Woodward has put out there or who he has contacted.
The Riley talk may have been 100% fiction.
There are people outside of the LSU search who benefit from coaches names being connected to the job. Remember that.

Bruce Feldman could have spoken directly with LR himself and came away with the wrong impression. His tweet is close to meaningless
