frick you. His activities involved covering up for rape. You must hate LSU if you want it to be tainted with that. This is not a Kiffin-like playboy coach who drinks and cheats on his wife with party girls. You are one dense mother fricker.

One and only: Tom Herman as HC and whatever figurehead OC he wants.
Who is so fricking stupid to believe Herman will come here as OC under Orgeron?

Just what we need. No morals.

My top OC choices to serve under Coach Orgeron are:
1. Lane Kiffen
2. Tom Herman
3. John James Fisher
4. Art Briles
5. Bobby Petrino
Are you trolling or serious?
Might as well go all in...if we can get Petrino or Jimbo to come be our OC, maybe we can get Saban as the DC, Jon Gruden as QB coach, and Les Miles to come back as a recruiting assistant

Think about it, Coach O wants to bring back the Pete Carroll-USC style offense. Sarkesian was a really good offensive guy, familiar with the system, and shares a lot of the same background as O
Did Steve ever get over his alcoholism? There's plenty of alcohol in Baton Rouge to tempt him. I'd be leery of giving him the reins of our offense if he's gonna fall off the wagon again.

Coming from the guy that is so desperate, that he's willing to have LSU's name tainted by associating with a known rape enabler. Yeah, I'm going to go with you're the one who's just a little too mad.

re: Briles
Aint gonna happen, regardless of whether he's any good (he is) or if he's even open to LSU (I think he'd be open to anybody at this point).
Regardless of his skills as a coach, he was fired for tolerating (or even help cover up) a pretty detestable situation. And, to top it off, there's new information out just last week or so that indicates things were even worse than was originally communicated.
Beyond just the stink and stigma already attached to him, I doubt anybody would take a flying leap and hire him because there's still the lingering fear of what other skeletons are going jump out of that closet and start dancing around.
Heck, the human sweater-vest (Tressel) got a 5 year show-cause ban for covering up something MUCH less horrendous. I suspect that if there was any interest in Briles, anywhere, that the NCAA would jump in pretty quick with the banhammer.
Nope, IMO it'll be quite a few years before Briles even sniffs a chance to coach in CFB again. His next best opportunity is to jump to the NFL for a while, make his mark, and check back in 5-7 years.

The problem with that is that he has shown to get drunk and not show up to practice. I don't think that will be good for the players. He is definitely a darn good OC when he is sober. Addiction is hard to break and the consequences are terrible for the person addicted and everyone around them.

Yep. I feel for his family. I obviously hate Alabama, but I hope he can turn it around there for his family's sake.

Why would you hire ANY assistant from Texas. They have not won in years.

Not sure how hes done with that. I agree it probably isnt the ideal place for an alcoholic, but Coach O was also one several years ago and has overcome it, so maybe he would be able to serve as an accountability/mentor to Steve.
