Yea ucla could def be in play for kiffin next year if he came here and had a great season. Also Arizona might open up also if they flop again next year and Kiffin wants to go back out west

More then likely he could have his pick of 2 PAC 12 schools and him and sexton could use Arizona and ucla for a bidding war. He would def get paid if he came here and did a good Job out of the shadow of Saban

Sorry but for oursake we're better off looking elsewhere for an OC because we'd be doing this again next year. There are some good names out there this year, let's go with one we can at least get two seasons out of.

Lane is a one season mercenary

Let's face it, this whole HC hire will be a year to year deal. Any coordinator worth their salt is on the verge moving to their next job at the end of a season. Aranda is "locked" in for 3 years but that could change. O needs to get the guy that will help LSU win immediately regardless of if that hire will be here in 2018.

I am mostly done with Brando. He has a chip on his shoulder regarding LSU, and he is either not interested in hiding it, or does not care.

I think other candidates could provide similar results while also providing more stability. Though if you're wanting this entire thing to implode I suppose Kiffin is a good pick

I think he comes to LSU for 2 seasons and then goes to the pro ranks.

SAban thinks so far ahead that he makes ready another great hire with tarnish by bringing him low under cover to replace the guy he knows will depart for H.C job.

I am not sure I would be that keen to have Sark has an OC, tbh. It seems pretty clear the guy struggles with substance addiction. Putting him in a high pressure position again (and I am willing to bet Saban tears into his coaches) could set the guy up for a relapse again.

I take no pleasure in saying that, but this is a guy who had everything in front of him and let his addiction take it away. I would hate to see it happen again, but it is something that seems possible.

What have you seen to believe Kiffin has any business in the NFL?

I find the fact that Blake Barnett just committed to transfer there very interesting...

Brando is no friend in LSU's eyes and for some time now. Word is LSU in previous regime and this one told him to F&(LL a long time ago. His buddy did not get the head announcer job and partially to do with his association with Tim. Brando is on the LSU unofficial chiite list for media hacks and even if Alexander and Alleva were gone tomorrow that probably would not change. Two sides to every story.

Couldn't be further from the truth. Brando was once pro LSU. But his sources are no longer there and he hit the chiite list. Or at least a time out list. The same list Scarborough and Lazarre are probably on LOL!!!!!You don't kiss arse you get toasted. That is how it works. And if you are jerk on top of that you get what you deserve.

It's pretty amazing how many people don't see that Lane is going to Houston
