Dude ran a successful program and definitely turned a program around from much worse than what we are coming from.

Not a fan.
He coached in college only 2 seasons? and lost a ton of games, but gets extra credit because of the circumstances. Seems like he actually had it made.
Alabama fans were upset with his red zone play-calling against A&M.
If you are going to be an ahole coach then you better be really good. I just think he is extremely meh. I would rather Sark over O'Brien.

I think he’s a good coach, but I’d be worried about his roster management.

As a Bama fan who wants to start over at OC, yes. As someone who doesn't want LSU to completely fall apart like Tennessee, hell no.
Also, as a Penn State fan, we still had a lot of talent after Paterno especially on defense. BOB did a great job of keeping everyone together when a mass exodus was predicted, but what he did here wasn't extraordinary.

So, we don't hire him either. Name a OC under Saban that has done poorly while at Bama. They aren't locks to been great Head Coaches.
