It’s not his fault that Freeman is from the Midwest and doesn’t want to up root his family. There’s other good coordinators. Some of y’all have to melt over anything.

I'm on his side! This shite is ridiculous! I know how to negotiate and hire but I'm at the point where I'm Pissed and ready to say "Anybody got the guyunes to come in here, be aggressive, and kick fargin' arse give me a call"!
Edit: He's got to get CRay's input on this at some point. Is he interested in the job? You can't go hire a 34 yr old if CRay wants the gig. He's the best at what he does. Could it turn out to be a Peter Principle hire? Yes, BUT we just can't shite on his loyalty. He's a great Tiger.

Yep, O went all-in on Freeman, made it public, and didn't get his man. That's going to be tough to bounce back on, no matter who we end up with, at least when it comes to perception.

I said it on Tuesday when O stated this on OTB. He only opened himself up to criticism if Freeman turned LSU down. Now he's getting heat from fans. He just should have said he has someone in mind and not mention any names.
Man, O makes some poor decisions at times.
That said, Freeman is behind us and there are other really good coordinators out there. There is no reason we can't get a more than capable guy.
