Thrilled. Didn’t like him as opposing coach but always felt he knew what he was doing and would not let lack of effort or stupidity fly.

In that interview when he was asked about his place in Notre Dame history, the first thing he mentioned was that he had never won a championship. He's got a deep desire to win a national title and knows there is no better place to do it than LSU. I just hope he stays for a few years after we win it, maybe win 2 or 3.
