"Bowl" game, yikes, that would likely be January. I'm hoping we will get an announcement after the conference championship games.

There is so much in this post that proves your ignorance of the process.
1. What the hell did you expect Scott to say … “we’re talking to all these coaches who are under contract at other schools.” Seriously, what would he say at this point.

Prolly be best if okie state defeats okie/Riley next Saturday. That puts okie state in big12 champ. game. In that case, no reason we couldn't announce

I remember when Brian Kelly took the ND job and left Cincy to fend for themselves against Tebow and a very pissed off Florida team in Sugar Bowl.
If the next coach isn’t in the CFP, he will be on an LSU podium by December 5th at the latest.
