What a cluster. Now I'm hearing he may not be gone after all.

Is he gone?
If so, who replaces him?
And where does he wind up?

This is the thread to speculate on these things

I don't see how he stays... but the problem in this situation is RG3, not Shanahan...

Shanahan's give a frick meter hasn't registered in several weeks. I wouldn't be surprised to see him punt on third down a few times today. The Redskins are a complete shite show.

He won't step down because he is owed 7M for next season. No one else wants the old hack either. Mike Shanahan is the epitome of a cocksucker in sports. He and Daniel Snyder deserve each other.

Rumors here in DC is that Danny Boy's next move is to force him to fire his coordinators and bring in new ones...

Great stalemate right now...

But also, supposedly Danny has been sending out feelers, and not many are biting except for guys like Billick

Shanny will be the last big name coach to coach in DC. Just like Dallas, it was be a constant revolving door of coaches because nobody is going to step into the owner/micro manager shitshow that are Jones and Snyder.

Why is everyone taking Shannys side?

Face it, shannahan owes one person more than any other for his coaching legacy: John Elway.

If nothing else, Griffin is a big part of the issue- For what he was last year, he is just a shitty starting QB this year that has done nothing but brought his whole team down with him...

meh. Elway late in his career wasn't great.

Say what you want about Elway, but he didn't carry those teams to championships. That was done on the back of the running game.

Those Broncos teams were great. They had a lot more than Elway
