There are obviously a multitude of reasons why he would choose to go to USC over staying at Oklahoma. I'm sure one of those is his wife's feelings over the matter. Some of the others are: a fat contract, access to the school jet whenever you want, a location that is easier to recruit to, a conference that will be easier to win in (vs the SEC), quality of life for his family living near USC vs living near OU.
If you think about it, the only real reason to stay at OU would be that he's comfortable there and familiar with the program. If that's your only reason for staying somewhere, it's time to go.
