The real kicker here is if Riley took considerably less money from USC then what LSU was offering…….. Now THAT would be Uber embarrassing…

Hopefully the contract details come out soon.

Not really. He’s just soft like his teams.

USC is a private school and doesn't release its contacts normally.

You are assuming that Woodward actually offered Riley and it wasn't just some rumor mill we ran with.

Factor in California's taxes and cost of living

USC has less pressure. They are the eighth Most popular sport in Los Angeles. Look how long they kept clay Helton despite him being painfully average.

I bet this is where all that 12 million a year talk come from. That's what USC was offering just inserted LSU instead to throw off the trail.

Not for LSU. Riley is obviously terrified of being in the SEC. He left OU before they join the SEC, passed on LSU, and ended up going to USC. WTF? That’s even worse than the Big 12. He’s afraid of coaching in the SEC.
I say frick him, time to move on and hire a coach who actually wants the challenge.

How the frick do we know any of this is true?
It’s apparent the smoke was not coming from our side. Which tends to make me think we may have been having someone else the entire time. All of these “leaks” were bullshite. Nobody knows anything so no reason to melt about shite that probably isn’t true.

He will be only mfer leaving oklahoma or texas going to California this year lol
Posted on 11/28/21 at 3:09 pm to 4TheLoveLSU
Or it means that LSU never offered him
Posted on 11/28/21 at 3:09 pm to 4TheLoveLSU
Who knows if the offer was even real? I don't know what to believe anymore. That may have been some bullshite fabricated by the Riley camp!

He would have been no better than Dan Mullen in the SEC. plus he will suck at USC and be fired in 2 years.

Who says we contacted him? Seriously, nobody knows anything by design.

True… in collaboration

Yep. He spoke out when TCU fired Patterson mid-season, so it's obvious he values a program with patience. People can say what they want about LSU but patience is not one of our virtues here.

We don’t even know what LSU offered if anything. Our insiders are trash.
