It's not stupid. You're stupid. LSU has to pay this money if you want a big hire. The program is not exactly stable right now even if it's a highly coveted job. You have possible NCAA sanctions on the investigations that right now nobody can fully predict. You have to live in Baton Rouge. SEC's money is about to blow up with the media contracts. LSU is paying market value if you want to compete with premiere coaches. SEC is going to inflate the market more moving forward.

Day is much better, he is competitive in playoff’s and recruits better.
