Nick Saban or Lane Kiffin.

When you live in a 20,000 square foot house, the urge to get your other half out of the house doesn't have quite the same urgency.

Isn't Saban still a UA employee with an office on campus? It just seems like he is so wrapped up in Gumpland that he cannot be extricated. Which is probably by design.

Lane Kiffin has turned a poverty program into a top tier team in the SEC. Kiffin is our guy and it’s already a done deal. He’s coming to LSU to build a dynasty and will bring LSU back to the top of college football.

How many coaches are we hiring, my man?

I don’t know if this is true or not, but to all those saying Verge said Saban is not coming, you need to go back and remember all of the times every coach said they weren’t doing something only to then turn around and do it. For example Saban saying he wasn’t leaving LSU and then ending up going to the NFL. They all miss direct to buy time before big announcements.

Lee, thank you for staying the course. I do believe you. I’ve followed this board for a long time and I’ve always found you to be an honest poster.

Who the frick are you? I refuse to believe anyone named "Bradyn" is going to be connected to anyone of significance inside the LSU Athletics department.

I love the optimism but really... why are you doing this to yourself?

Nick is not coming back, but verge saying this on Mosconas show mean absolutely nothing. That deal could be signed and Nick on a plane to BR and Verge would still say “he’s not coming”.

100%. We have all seen Nick Saban lie on television about taking/not taking a job. I'm not saying I wouldn't have done the same but to think that anything you hear on a talk show right now is gospel is retarded.

Wouldn't the BOS have to approve this? I guess they could have done that in Executive Session, but I would be surprised if they tackled President, Chancellor, AD, and HC all in one fell swoop.

If you told me the sun rose this morning I wouldn’t believe you.

You, Taysom, and Braxtynn should be in the batting cage, not the message boards.

None of that matters. That doesnt mean hes coming here. But that guy hates being home constantly.

Its who he is. Again, does not mean hes heading here or anywhere

Verge denied it is Saban yesterday on Moscona's show.

Moscona's show is not the one I would choose to listen to for any information outside of the menu at Supper Club and how to get a fortified roof.

Verge could be playing it down.

Asked whether he had reached out to Saban, Ausberry said, “Nick Saban and I have a standing conversation probably every two to three weeks. We’re good friends, first of all, and he’s a person I admire a lot. Coach Saban was joking. No way he’s coming back to football, okay? Miss Terry (Saban) is not going to let him. So that’s not going to happen. Let’s get that out of the way. If he were interested, I’d drive up there right now and pick him up.”

When asked that question by the media... what leader (interim or full time) is gonna say "Oh yeah! It's him! We are working on the deal now!"

No one. They are gonna allow things to get done and then make the announcement after.

I don't think it's Saban, but I dont think Verge's comments should hold any weight.
