Oh Lord. You disappeared when he destroyed Louisville and now you're back because he lost against Memphis and didn't go to LSU.

I doubt you'll be on this board next year, but watch what Herman does in his first year at Texas. All I got to say is that you are one stupid mofo.

man, i keep forgetting that there are patterns to every coach, that because 1 season he lost to some "lesser" teams there fore EVERY YEAR remaining in his career he will do the EXACT same thing.

But congrats, we didn't get him, time will tell how he does, it is sad that you had such a personal vendetta against the guy for God knows what reason.

I'm sure we'll be much happier beating MSU, Arky, A&M and OM while losing to Bama and Florida every year

his whole resume, why is that so hard for you to understand and except?

do you honestly think it is better to beat all the teams you should but lose to the best teams you play? Cause that's what O has done.

Lets apply your logic of Hermans first year at UH to LSU. He loses to Kentucky, but beats everyone else. At the end of the year he's holding the big trophy.

He [Meyer] faltered when Herman left osu.

Huh? Meyer is 11-1 this year, with his only loss coming to 10-2 Penn State, on the road, from a blocked FG returned for a TD.

OSU's total offense is 24th in the country (1st in the Big 10) at 479 YPG.

But yea, faltering.

Tom Herman isn’t into all that macho college football culture. “How do you motivate a human being to do things against his own nature?” Herman said in an interview. “There’s two things: love and fear. And to me, love wins every time.”

I went on vacation. I also posted the night of the Louisville game and the morning after. I was the one who on Thursday told a Hermanette that the upset by Houston could happen. He was really bent out of shape crying about the betting line. He thought I was kicking his beloved Herminator while he was down since Louisville was a big favorite. I told him that Houston was favored by 22 on the road at SMU and lost by 22 points so it could certainly happen with Houston vs Louisville.

Didn't even care about the Memphis game. I thought Hermster would go 3-4 to finish the season and he went 4-3 so he did better than I expected, including finishing in 5th place in the American conference.

I've been on this board a lot longer than you have. Don't live on here like you apparently do with your post count, but I have been a member a few years more.

I will look at how they are doing from time to time. I have always and will always pull against the Texas Longhorns regardless of who happens to be the coach. Them, Notre Dame and USC.

Your un-explainable love for Tom Herman is what causes you to say this. If you could take a step back and take an unbiased look at what he did in the second half of his second season as head coach you may feel differently. 4-3 and finishing 5th in the AAC while losing to Navy, SMU and Memphis does not scream GREATNESS to me like it somehow does to you.

Just think, if he had won one more game he'd have matched O's three year win total as head coach of a program.

Just think, if Hermbob coached at Ole Miss 10 years ago he may have done even worse than Coach O, especially since he has a propensity to losing to inferior teams.

Ole miss had 3 times the talent that Houston has this year And last. And Houston still beat some really good football teams.

O lost to wyoming

I guess I can understand your obsession with Coach O since he is the new HC at LSU. Glad to see you fully support the LSU football program.

What I don't understand is what Coach O's record 10 years ago at Ole Miss has to do with Herman's current season at Houston.

Herman finished 6th(corrected) in the American Conference. He finished behind South Florida, Temple, Navy and Tulsa and shared fifth place with Memphis. So, in actuality since Memphis beat him head-to-head I guess Herman would be in 6th place in the American Conference. Not too bad for a "GREAT" coach in only his second year on the job.

6th place in the AAC is nothing to sneeze at for your average football fan. With all the powerhouse teams like SMU, Tulane, Cincinnatti, Conneticut and East Carolina. Hey, he did finish above SMU and Tulane in the West this year. Just another feather in the cap of the Herminator.

East Division
Temple xy 7–1
No. 24 South Florida x 7–1

West Division
No. 20 Navy xy 7–1
Tulsa 6–2
Memphis 5–3
Houston 5–3
SMU 3–5
Tulane 1–7

$ – Conference champion
x – Division champion/co-champions
y – Championship game participant

Nick Saban won more than 7 games just 1 time at MSU. I guess he sucked as a coach too. Oh wait...

He lost to a 14 point underdog at home while they were missing tons of defensive starters. Also, o didnt implement the offense or defense so giving him the credit for lsu playing well is like giving me the credit for creating TigerDroppings.

Ed Orgeron wouldnt be a top 5 candidate at Vandy or Kentucky. Fact.

You dont understand why the only time Ed Orgeron has ever ran an offense, defense,or program would be important?

God our fanbase is fricking ignorant.
Being ok with this hire is the reason we will never reach Bama's level.
We just hired a career dline coach and he us the most unqualified hire in big 6 history. Derek Dooley had a better resume that Ed orgeron. Let that sink in.

Are you seriously comparing a guy who's coached for 2 years with someone else's players to Nick Saban?

I've seen some stupid shite on this board but this is about the stupidest. Why not compare the one-season-wonder (with someone else's players) to Vince Lombardi, Bear Bryant, Knute Rockne, Ara Parseghian and Jimmy Johnson.

I'm sure he will be better than all of those jack-offs combined. Especially since he is already as good as or better than Nick Saban.

Ha ha. A guy not qualified for Vandy's job is somehow a good hire at lsu? And you think we have small brains?
