The dude finished his second year at 4-3 in his last seven games and lost to teams who had much less talent than him. Let him go the to the B12 and beat OU and lose to Kansas, Iowa State, and Texas Tech.
People on this board wanted to pay the underachieving one-year-wonder $7 million per year. Idiots, that's what Saban makes and he has won multiple NC's.

Texas has problems that go straight down to its pillars. It's a systemic wide problem. those problems don't go away overnight. I mean they had players that were drug dealers at one time and those problems didn't magically disappear when Tom walked onto the 40 acres. He will also have 10 Jerry Jones's in his ear every day. Tom knows that and still took the gig. He will either become a legend at UT or fall flat on his face Bc of the systemic issues. No in between.
