So one year makes a job bad now?

Pretty sure Alabama had a 3 win season in the last 20 years.Guess LSU is better than Alabama.

Go back and reread what I said in my last post. I wasn't down-grading Florida so much as defending LSU's relative merits.

Florida is not a bad job, but both it and FSU are down relative to Miami, UCF, USF, and FAU.

I think most hate recruiting.

But be honest. He stated it publicly. I would wonder how long before he tried to bail to go back to the NFL. I think most coaches who were in the NFL have an itch they will try to scratch more than just once.

That being said, he would certainly make that Florida offense dynamic.

UF still is in the middle of a massive hotbed.

UF has a two hour drive to Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville.

LSU had a job opening before UF. I think he just means we hired a shite coach and could have done better. Not that LSU could hire him right now.

Chip will wreck shite at Florida, and anyone saying otherwise is a dolt.

This will send me back into Pissed off mode regarding the O hire.

Congrats if true Gator fans.

Damn, I'm jealous if this is true. He was #1 on my wish list to replace Miles.

Congrats Florida fans.

Florida has the #9 recruiting class without a coach. They're not really down, just underachieving with McElwain. Chip will have the tools to turn it around almost immediately.

Got to agree. I dislike Florida as much as anyone else, but Chip will destroy the rest of the SEC East. You can expect a lot of Alabama vs Florida in Atlanta in the near future if this pans out.

Kelly would be a good fit but wouldn't last long. Florida players under Chip Kelly's "watch" would have a license to commit felonies.

Recruiting at Oregon is much tougher than Florida as well.

Just different. At Oregon you're basically trying to recruit the talent rich states with Nike as your main recruiting tool.

Have to reach further which becomes tougher on the coaches.

He'll have to drop the big words out of his vocabulary to be successful in Florida.... that's for sure
