This guy is such a bad RB coach how does he keep getting big jobs? lol. Anyone remember the awful job he did with LSUs RB room when it had elite Rb after RB every year no problem?

Sark is just winging it at this point. Won't be long until he's done at Texas.

I bet Florida is nervous as shite right now. There were already rumors that they were going to throw a big bag at Baugh.

It is an absolute crime that his guy has continued to get the jobs he does, and also that he is able to make the kind of money he has. This dude is a fricking joke of a coach

Recruiters with Louisiana ties are a hot commodity regardless of coaching ability. It seems like Frank is on his way out, but I hope Lane has a plan to fill in that gap.

People like to say LSU is in a great spot because of the lack of recruiting competition, but it's only as good as the connections you have on staff that can unlock it. Kyle Williams was north Louisiana, Frank was south Louisiana, big recruiting holes to fill.

Some of these coaches in the South are just conmen. They get in good with HS coaches, then sell themselves as indispensable. They also threaten to burn their current school if they are every fired/demoted.

Crappy coaches that focus on PR and control the narritive can keep jobs for yeaars because they are a "safe" choice because of their perceived reputation whether it is deserved or not.

It is common in the corporate world.

quote:

The saying "nobody ever got fired for buying IBM" originated in the corporate world, particularly during the 1980s when IBM was the dominant player in the technology sector. It suggested that choosing IBM was a safe decision for business leaders, as it minimized personal risk in case of project failures. This mindset stemmed from the belief that IBM's established reputation would protect decision-makers from blame, regardless of the outcome.

That's "Scraping the bottom of the Barrel" for a Program like Texas. (Hey Derrius, do you know the play and your responsibilities?........He never said a word to him in the timeout before that last play against Florida. (Orgeron's interim partial season)

He should never be allowed again to coach after hitting a player. Wow!
