If I were Brohm, I would avoid this shite show all together.

BS. Tenn has money, Facilities and basically everything you need to be successful, All programs go through shite times, this is one of them for Tenn that can all be fixed with the right guy. The West is weak and with the right coach Tenn could be turned around in one season.. Butch did one thing right and that was recruiting.. The cupboard is not empty.. Tenn is still a national brand and has a national title, you cant take that away..

Give Brohm anything he wants and get the hell out of his way... youll be 2nd in the East next year.. He is the perfect guy and has connections in the area for Recruiting from his time in Kentucky..

Going into EVERY season you know that no matter how well you've recruited your roster won't be as talented as at least 3 of your opponents. That doesn't scare away many coaches but couple that with the fact that your fan base EXPECTS you to win all 3 of those games every year?

Yeah, no thanks.

1. Tennessee’s roster is as talented as anyone they play outside of Alabama. Jones pulled in top ten classes.

2. UT fans don’t expect to beat Alabama, UF, and UGA every year. We do expect not to routinely get swept by those three though. There’s a big difference.

More talented than Georgia? I would doubt this and 4-8 definitely says otherwise. Florida, maybe since McElwain was a god awful recruiter but that will quickly be remedied with Mullen there.

they should rehire kiffin and be done with it

Failing that, they should throw 6m at Orgeron. Ed, come home...

Brohm isn't going to do that at all.

I think he's an average recruiter TBH.

I think he did a great job in the offseason of getting rid of the bad apples on our roster and also encouraging kids to GTFO that were never going to contribute. Call him a better roster manager than recruter.

Even with our 21 commits now I think we are 6 oversigned for next year. Tough spot for us to be in but there definitely needed to be roster turnover for us to be competitive this year. He picked up some decent JUCOs and grad transfers to plug some of the holes.

Now, its all on him to develop the 3 stars he is bringing in....which is better than the 2 stars and low 3 stars his predecessors loved. He definitely won't have UT in the top 10 as far as recruiting though.

All of this. Brohm knows offense, played QB himself and learned from some of the best. Give him the keys Vols.

Comparing his recruiting at Purdue to what it’d be at Tennessee seems like a bad comparison

According to 247 G had a higher recruiting class in 2017 and 2016, UT had a higher class in 2015 and 2014. Talent isn’t the problem at UT. This season was a combination of injuries, poor coaching, poor development, and the team flat out giving up. Whoever the next coach is will have talent to work with.

It as a show of commitment from him to remain at ISU. Plus the new contract makes it higher.
