Does this push David Johnson out? Is he a possible candidate at LSU?

There’s been some talk about David Johnson going to Auburn. Either Johnson or Chris Weinke is definitely out to make room for Tee

I was listening to Hester's show last night and they think the hire will be someone who has been fully immersed in the RPO/spread offense.

Maybe I'm ignorant on how these things work, but if you want to run this type of offense, why wouldn't you go out and get an offensive coordinator who runs this type of offense? Seems almost self defeating to bring someone in to teach your OC.

Seems like we get a lot of this doesn’t it? They made a big run at kingsbury but couldn’t get a deal done.

Sean Salisbury will not be an onfield coach. Where are people getting this?

Rumor mill

Many had him as an analyst or QB coach.

Not sure why he would take an analyst job at $30,000?

I agree, unless that person is there to transition to being the OC after 2019.

Almost like jerry and Mickey a little huh? Maybe O hires a good WR coach that can recruit as well instead of taking up two spots. Gotta be someone out there.

Exactly. And now people want to act like O didn’t want him, when probably the most respected “source” on here said O made an offer.

That's dependent on who LSU does hire.

I’ve been told from the beginning there are a few nfl guys that are the priority candidates. I think Shea Dixon on 247 said Tee Martin was never a candidate as well.
