Tate is gonna f*ck this up. We all can feel it coming

For decades we’ve waited for the prodigal son to return home in Scott Woodward. Widely regarded as the best AD in the country. Baton Rouge native Scott Woodward’s entire career has been building to this one hire. Scott’s known for landing whales at every stop. He aims for the absolute cream of the crop and has a better hiring track record than any AD this millennium can claim.
And the board appoints a Critical Race Theory advocate in as president who now wants to call shots in the athletic department and believes hiring based on the pigmentation of someone’s skin color is more important than ones ability to actually coach football.
We know what happens next. Scott, who took the job with promises of completely autonomy and freedom will be strong armed into an affirmative action hire.
We all can see this one coming from a mile away. Only thing left now if for John Bel to insert himself in and push for an equality hire.

I still see Woodward saying either let me work or let me go. Also let's say tate wants Mel tucker. If tucker completely shits the bed in these next few big games, what big booster would put up the money for that hire? I mean thats the problem right, if Mel tucker was in year 4 at Michigan state, having consistently been a good to very good team, I'd say come on down

There are damned strong reasons to hire Tucker that have zero to do with race. And race may have a lot to do with recruiting and motivation as we move forward with teams that are mostly AA.

I'm with Jordy Culotta on this. Woodward is from Baton Rouge. He's worked his entire professional career for this one moment. There's no way he's going to allow anyone else to keep him from getting the person he wants for the job. I presume Tate will ultimately let Woodward have his man as long as Tate thinks the hire will be a fit for the program and the university.

If that is true, it would be a shame. The president should be concerned with bolstering academics and raising money. If he really is making the choice, then Woodward should resign after explaining what is happening.
Based on Tate's writings he thinks that education is inherently racist which makes no sense to me if people are all the same. I have always thought that government education was all about indoctrination and Tate seems to be the embodiment of that position. Government schools, including LSU, will continue to brainwash the children. Look at the average vocabulary of HS seniors today compared to the turn of the 20th century. It is shameful. I think people of Tate's ilk are part of destruction of scholarship in the United States.

Everything you said is true except the parts that haven’t happened yet. But this is definitely Tate’s plan. We’ll have to wait to see whose nuts are bigger
