I have Stage IV cancer, and while this season has been a shitshow and little to no fun to watch, this coaching search and particularly this thread popping off on a Thursday night has been nothing short of magnificent. Thank you brethren for being the insane and wonderful fan base that we are and being a bright spot of crazy during a difficult time!

Even if this is true, the only thing that matters to most in the portal is money. Even if LSU ends up with another coach, they will only have more money that they aren’t paying Lane to put toward NIL.
It also helps to have prior relationships with a player who enters. Lane hardly bothers with HS recruiting (at Ole Myth), so he rarely has that edge.
