Im leaning true.

These massive contracts continue to end horribly.

Paying Kiffin a top five contract is a mistake.

Tennessee, USC, FAU and Ole Miss.

His titles came at one program.

I’ll say false - the team that wins will back him financially with astronomical money.

LSU will be fine. We will win regardless. I’m not worried about Lane, Ole Miss can keep him, if that’s what he decides, they’ll never win anything anyway. It’s Ole Miss.

He could thrive at LSU or UF, but even if he doesn't it's hard to imagine he wouldn't leave them better than he found them. A big contract is the expectation at either program, unless it's something absurd like $20m/year for 7 years (and close to fully-guaranteed), either program would live if they had to cut him loose

The program that doesn't get him can still get a great coach

OM is the loser in all scenarios. They're destroyed fiscally (likely title-less) if they manage to retain him, and the likelihood of replacing him with someone equal or better is next to 0%

maybe true. but there's also a chance the winner wins 4 natties in the next 11 years, especially if its a place like LSU

LSU wins regardless. Other than BK, every coach has won a NC in the last 25 years. BK didn’t put the work the effort in necessary to do so. LSU won’t make that mistake again.

Meanwhile , OM hasn’t won a SEC championship since 1960. They won’t win one this year. They won’t win a NC this year even if LK stays. They won’t win one with him long term bc they don’t have the long term resources.
