Wonder why he was let go? The running game was anchored by two true freshman who both averaged 6.8 or better and the 3rd string averaged 5.2.

The pass offense was insane, as good as Bama if not better.

My memory could be very very off here, but I'm remembering that being Haley as the area recruiter for NLA.

Also, Studarwa "left" in Jan of 2013 and Cam Rob was class of 2014 meaning Stud was gone when it shifted from area recruiting to designating recruiting (Grimes in Feb).

Seems to be several things at play here. One rumor is that Stud refused to teach "RPO Blocking" like Day wanted. Which can go ahead and mark that one down as complete unadulterated bullshite. No way Stud would refuse such and he's very capable of coaching such to boot. There's the injury (back) from getting hit on sideline which, with his weight, is likely making where he simply isn't able to perform his job; I'm thinking travelling for recruiting at the top of the list. It's very possible the Urban hire has just wore out his welcome with Day; and his rumored replacement (Frye) has worked with Day before also.

Because Ohio State fan don’t know a good thing when they have it. They think he’s lost too many recruiting battles.
