Strong clearly campaigning for one more year.

His quote after the win yesterday was clearly a plea to the admin for one more year. I don't have the exact quote, but here is the translation:
"Give me one more year and if I don't win 10 games, you can fire me and I will understand. Just give me one more year."

I think he is right. He's very close to being the best team in the big XII. Two seniors on the starting 22. Most are freshman and sophs. Every game has been close. One more year, I think he turns the corner. He had a huge rebuilding task and a piss poor administration who's tried to make him fail the day he got their.
I believe Strong is a good coach. He and franklin are starting to show signs of turn their programs around.

I think he's already been informed that his services will no longer be needed after the end of the season.
Part of me wishes he would've taken the Miami job last year. But it would've been hard to walk away from $15 million ($10 million after the end of the season).

Charlie Strong has been back doored his whole time at Texas. There were forces who wanted him out the day he was hired.
