He's such a genuinely nice guy and a really good coach. Charlie loves those kids and they love him. That's obvious after Saturday. Id encourage a March for Charlie Strong. The way he's being treated is completely unacceptable

it's funny how Texas fans think they are so much better than Strong, he's a really good coach just hasn't had the tools to succeed I think

You didn't even give me time to respond, I wouldn't hire him right now because this is a make or break hire for LSU. As for you, y'all were already broken and you asked Charlie to take over a team of thugs. He had to kick half the team off no wonder why things have been rough for him. He's now beaten 2 top 10 teams this year and y'all still cry like a bunch of bitches.

I believe you and appreciate the info. I've followed this board a long time and don't understand why people get mocked for trying to bring info to fellow fans. Who the hell knows who somebody knows? Believe what you want. Bring the info if u got it. I and I'm sure others appreciate it

Charlie has the team so close and is relying on a ton of young guys. He's done a great job every place he's been. He's got y'all on the cusp of being really really good.
He's not who y'all wanted and has not had the support of your administration since day 1. That's undeniable and it's really not making the university look very good.
His fate has not been decided. That's absurd to suggest he could go 8-4 in year 3 of rebuilding and get fired . It could happen, but there's no way to justify it.

In Texas you mean? I believe Kirk Herbstreit called it a cesspool about two weeks ago. Now i wouldn't say it's a tier 2 school, but it's definitely not as appealing as it used to be.

In no particular order:
Alabama
LSU
FSU
tOSU
Notre Dame
Oregon
I picked these as "better" for one or all the following reasons:
1) much easier to recruit talent in the state of that university.
2) current and overall prestige of the program.
3)currently and consistently in the top 5 football programs in the country with consistent national rankings.
4) media obligations are much less than what UT is.
5) better Athletic department/boosters. Not talking about money. I am talking about how they treat the coaching staff.

Charlie needs 1 more year. He will finally have rebuilt that program next year with the right kids. He returns almost everyone on the team too.
He needs keep more hands on the defense and he'll win 10 games next year.
