Correct. It would imply someone not still competing for their division.. like Campbell, Jimbo, Kiffin, Brian Kelly, or someone out of coaching like Petersen.

But if okie/riley wins at okie state, we will have to wait another week (the Sunday after the big12 champ game) - unless Aranda is Woody's choice (since baylor would be eliminated from big12 ch game).

Well he said 7 days so that would eliminate Aranda too because no one knows if he will be in the championship game or not. Same with Riley.
Of course he later posted the deal is almost done so sounds like conflicting posts to me. Not sure how you can say it will be in 7 days but also say the deal isn't done

Good point. I didn't read it like that but I guess you could be right. Still don't see how it could be anyone playing or potentially playing in a conference championship or major bowl if we're about to reveal the coach.
