Well that would indicate it's probably not Riley because if he beats OSU he goes to the championship game. If you're certain we know in 7 days I guess it isn't a coach with a shot at playing in a conference championship or major bowl

I put on record the only other info I had was Marcus Freeman last year until he got a call from Brian Kelly on the flight home…(who knows what happened with that)

We keep saying this (me included), but do we really know if that is a fact? Why couldn't a coach announce at the end of the season prior to the conference championship? Wouldn't it depend on the terms of his existing contract?
I want the right coach but I hope we can get the right coach and publicly announce prior to early signing.

I just can't recall a coach bailing on the team right before a conference championship or potential playoff appearance. Maybe I am just missing someone.
