Yeah, nothing in that was real. That’s rage bait.

They'll go to a different school every year chasing money. This is a new college football landscape.

And Kiffin pretty much said this himself in his press conference.

I think many blacks, nationally, still view Ole Miss as a racist institution

The one and only time I went to Ole Miss campus for a game there was a KKK rally on campus. This was the infamous game where Jordan Jefferson spikes the ball to end the game.

He also said that “the brothas” aren’t choosing to go to Ole Miss.

Here's the full quote:

"Leave it to me. I’ll say it. The brothers ain’t trying to come to Oxford, Miss. for the most part, compared to Gainesville or Baton Rouge, La. Let’s just call it what it is, OK?"

He's generalizing but it's a valid point. Rural deep south is not where most young black athletes want to go. To me, it makes it all the more impressive what Kiffin has done there. Add Freeze, Tuberville, and Cutcliffe to that list as well. Hell, when Tuberville was there Ole Miss fans were still waving rebel flags during games. What a recruiting visit selling point that must have been

To Stephen A’s point, what is he supposed to do? Close his mind off on potential better jobs and not weigh his options because he’s successful?

Seriously. Even if he has his mind made up to leave, what would the “moral superiors” like Finebaum and MadDog want him to do? Or is the only option to stay at a place that’s less superior than the alternative(s)?

You need to reevaluate when you find yourself in alignment with SAS.

“Lane Kiffin seems to be enjoying the circus even though he doesn’t act like it”
What in the actual frick does that mean. If he isn’t acting like it then how exactly does he “seem to be enjoying it”

Why does Lane owe it to the team to stay? Players don’t have to anymore. They’re not expected to owe anything to their teammates. frick those guys.

They think because he has OM in position to make the playoffs that there's no need to go elsewhere, which is silly. LK wants to win NCs, not simply get playoff appearances. I don't think even OM fans think they're a serious NC contender.

Yeah, they’d get dog walked by 75% of the CFP field. Only cognitive dissonance can hide the truth, which they are admittedly very good at.
