Cooks has more of a connection with Kelly which may help him but he should be let go also.

Absolutely I cannot see how you can say one of these coaches is better than the other one.. just can both of them already

Cooks is older and has a proven track record of terribleness.
Steeples is younger and still has potential on his side. He’s been in an unfortunate situation of only being able to learn from shitty coaches and shitty recruiters the last couple years.

might be unpopular but Cooks recruits well especially in DFW & our safety issues this year was due to lack of talent

So we excuse House because Speights and Penn were upperclassmen on the team? But who is accountable for not starting Weeks when he was clearly better? Who is accountable for playing 4 out of position? Who is accountable for failing to spy Milroe? Who is accountable for the general failure to bring more than 4 man pressure leaving the weaker secondary to have to cover for hours?

So is Steeples the sacrificial lamb? The problem wasn't just CBs. It was scheme, the front 7, mismanagement of Perkins, bad personnel choices on who should start . . .

Penn is not as bad as Speights but is very blockable and not that great of a tackler.

Penn’s biggest flaw is his athleticism or lack there of. He doesn’t compare well to the guys we’ve watched play the last decade or so.
