Chris "I get so fricking irritated" Petersen is absolutely a possibility. Folks that think it's not him because "it would have already been announced," they should keep right on thinking that. Then upon Petersen being announced on Sunday or Monday they'll enjoy it that much more.

But why? Not how Woodward works, and after the season was the timeline set when the search started. Just because the coach has not been announced doesn't mean that getting assistants in line can't be being done. Only thing different is recruiting, but there are still limits to what can be done unless you want to let staff go before the season ends.

Precisely. He and Woodrow could've been lining up staff for weeks now. That way Petersen could enjoy his Thanksgiving and family and Woody could relax and go bird hunting and then enjoy his family.

You may well be right. Nobody knows for sure right now. I wouldn’t mind Peterson one bit.
