Probably the most respected poster on the UM Rivals site, who also happens to be a former player, just wrote the following post about 15 mins ago:

quote:

A source of mine who is close to the situation texted me the following re. Enos to Michigan. Have not been able to follow up with him so all I know is what is written :

"He has until January 11th to change his mind, already took the job (at Michigan)"

What an absolutely bizarre move that would be. Enos is an MSU guy and has a very spotty track record.

Interesting, to say the least.

But we're busy melting about Canada and Aranda in the other thread. Come join us!

I think this is solid for both parties. Like Enos a lot.

Enos played a very big role in Bielema's demise at Arky.

Err, no

Enos would be a great hire. He’d immediately turn around y’all’s passing game

Depends on who you believe about the OL. If the move to a smaller, quicker OL was Enos’ call then he definitely played a part in it.

Also, after an initial good season in 2015, our offense actually got worse every season under him. Clearly our defense was the biggest issue but the record levels of bad it had took a lot of the spotlight away from what was a pedestrian to bad offense, at times, the last two years.

Great guy and I’ll root for him wherever he goes, but he’s a downright schizophrenic playcaller. One game he’ll look like one of the most innovative minds in football, and the next it’ll look like he took the week off and quite literally had no game plan whatsoever.

All told, he’s a Big Ten guy at heart and a much better fit for a Big Ten program. Decent hire for Harbaugh provided he has a very good defense holding the line if/when his offense shits the bed.

Inversely, Ben Herbert was a terrible hire and is one of the worst S&C coaches in the country. It’ll take a year to purge the slowness and softness from our roster thanks to him.

Pigs still can't see this fact. They love him and the 8-win Allen brothers to death.

Enos is a good play caller and QB developer.

Lack of talent was Bert's demise.

Brandon Allen went from serviceable game manager who would never step foot on an NFL team to having the top QBR in the nation and becoming a backup NFL QB under Enos.

Enos was very average. He had one really good season as OC with Brandon Allen. I wish him well, but he won't be missed.

Not really. It was more lack of player development, non utilization of players because he doesn't know who his best players are, and being an atrocious in game coach.
