Leak a story about a terrible candidate the day before Thanksgiving. Everyone spends the next couple days with families bitching and raising hell about Mark Stoops being the next head coach. It's all the talk, everywhere
Taking our eyes off of the real target. Everyone in the south east who loves talking football. Is about to spend the next 48 hours talking about LSU and Mark Stoops.

The other day Josh pate said on his late kick extra podcast that Mel tucker was never a candidate at lsu and it was all to float his massive raise. Time for Mark stoops to get his from Kentucky

Feldman is trolling us…I hope.
The reason its so tough for LSU to believe a coach of Riley or Aranda’s caliber is coming is based on past experience. LSU has a long history of being the bridesmaid, but rarely the bride.
In addition, SW hired Jimbo at A&M and gave Orgeron a raise and an extension after the 2019 season which with the benefit of hindsight was misguided.
What gives the fanbase hope that we are no longer the bridesmaid are the recent hires of Mulkey and Johnson.
The next few days should bring us that answer.

How was giving O a raise after 2019 misguided? You really want to be that school that doesn't reward a HC for winning a NC. You'd never get anyone if thats how you treated a HC
