The boosters wouldn’t pay that amount if they worried about running out of money. I’ve seen you saying this a lot. Why would you assume boosters don’t have the money to what they’re trying to do? They’ve never ran out of money before
ETA: You act like LSU is some slack arse athletic department. They’re a top 5 school when it comes to generating revenue and have a self sustaining athletic department. They can do whatever the hell they want with the money they raise. Football is what makes that department self sustaining and what do think a hire like Lincoln Riley will do for that revenue?

54-9 at a P5 school.
What a bum

Belichek at 12.5 mil and Carroll at 11 are the only NFL coaches making north of 10 mil. Next is Payton at 9.8 and Harbaugh at 9.

This is so stupid
“Curley Hallman will eventually go back to Alabama!”
“Gerry Dinardo will eventually go back to Notre Dame!”
“Nick Saban will eventually go to the NFL!”
“Les Miles will eventually go back to Michigan!”
30+ years of coaching searches and only one of those scenarios worked out. Stop being scared.

So let me get this straight. If it's Riley, we'll have demonstrated we can poach coaches from a program that's considered a major blueblood and makes the playoffs damn near every year. And your big question is what do we do after he bolts for the NFL, which would most likely only happen if he wins big here?

First time I made a statement remotely close to this

Drive it down a rabbit hole

Well, were that to happen we’d likely have another natty or two and Woodward would look like a genius. So all in all, we’d be in an even better spot as an attractive program than we are today so I would suggest we’d have our pick of the litter. And Woody would clearly do what’s needed to get the best one.

In the weakest P5 conference he is overrated

Aranda. He will have a few playoff games under his belt by then.
