So who had the better hire Miami or Florida?

Neither one of them. Those hires may turn out to be fantastic, but right now, hiring those guys are bigger gambles then I think either school needed to make, especially Florida.

For me personally, Muschamp is an exciting guy and therefore a reason to get excited about the hire. We kept hearing about guys like Edsall, Sumlin or Golden; but in all honesty they are pretty boring hires.

You could be right, but I remember a thread that said Florida's hire would trump any hire Miami could get. I think that thread is now full of fail.

Neither was that great--it looked like both schools were eager to get the positions filled as soon as they could.
