not really sure, both hires are pretty *meh* to me...

al golden: 4 year head coach from temple--with a losing record overall and 1 really good year in that crap conference with those crap schedules...hmm, i am just not sold.

For those saying Golden, let me ask you a question. Do you think Golden is a better coach or do you think he's a better hire relative to the position?

So if LSU was looking for a new coach RIGHT NOW, would you rather have Golden or Muschamp?

This is about Miami and Florida not Vandy. I don't remember any Vandy posters claiming that their hire will be a better hire than Miami's.

Agreed...think the Muschamp hire had the better firewirks of the two, but Golden may be the better coach down the road. Muschamp has never held the reigns before and could struggle to fill the shoes of Meyer. Golden on the other hand has experience being the head man and following Shannon could be a little easier. Da U made a solid hire I think, but I said that about Shannon too lol
