IMO scheme is less important right now than getting back to basics. We did some stupid shite on D last year that was more or less unrelated to scheme.

THAT is one fricking epic and hilarious find
when you say "Sam backer" do you mean part of the 2 or the 5? like we'd be running with 2 hybrids, one in the slot and one at LB? or is that just the slot-hybrid role?

Do you think what he ran at Bowie State 10+ years ago will have a bearing on what he runs at LSU? I think that conclusion is absurd.
His experience as DC at Bowie is meaningless. Whatever he's bringing to the table for us, he's bringing it based on his experience and learning that happened in the NFL.
