I'd take Gary Patterson over Will Muschamp every single day of the week FWIW

Some reasonable choices I like:

LINK <- Kyle Whittingham

LINK <-Charlie Strong

LINK (personal favorite) <-The Legend

Edit: One negative I just thought of with those choices is losing Chavis =/ Both of those guys would most likely take over the D.

The fact that he is a choice at all is pathetic. You didn't address the issues I presented earlier either.

You didn't bold a starting DE
Starting CB
2 WR who saw a lot of time
2 WR who saw the field as freshmen this year
our third down RB
2 starting TEs
Ron Brooks ST beast and highly possible Defensive starter next year
starting LB
Starting Safety
2 young Olinemen who have already seen playing time
DT who was playing in his first game as a Freshmen
Frosh DB who was on the field a lot as the year went on
All the Freshmen and Sophmores who haven't even had a chance yet.

What is it your looking for from your average run of the mill 4 star?

John Gruden...NFL analyst...never know until you ask, Miami did and he said no

Is Brian Billick a candidate for jobs?

Idk. Interesting point. I know he won't be getting an nfl job. (obviously) but I wonder if he would take a college job.

after looking at his resume he hasn't coached in college since: '91

I really really really really think he would take the Stanford job if offered. He coached there from '89 to '91.

You pointed out that I bash 4 star players, implying that I'm wrong about them. I pointed out that most of LSU's 74 4 star players did not pan out....i'm sure I could go do that with every team that gets 74 4 star players.

because star ratings are about "potential." Not how they are supposed to pan out. Miss Cleo doesn't work for Rivals.

back to plan B, someone claims in a FWIW post on da UM board that he is one step removed from Brandon by a "prominent source in the Michigan Business school" and he says that Patterson has been contacted by Brandon.
