re: So the future of LSU football depends on Hoke (to UM)

Hoke
Calhoun
Mullen
Should all get a look.
I'd bring Malzahn in for an interview just to see what I thought, personally. But I don't buy into the whole "you need experience to succeed" thing. It's a personality I'd be looking for.
All that said, Ponamsky tweeted a couple days ago that Miles has told people he's not interested in UM.
I think he's over that job. He loves being at LSU... he makes serious coin here... he has built in recruiting advantages.. and even though the fans are rabidly critical of him, there was a reporter that spoke with him that said he doesn't mind that because it lets him know people still care and the worst thing would be people not caring about the program.

I'd like to think that Skip (or any other quality AD), if confronted with a Miles vs. Petrino choice, would pick Miles every time based on character. There's nothing in the rest of their resumes that would be strong enough to outweigh that obvious difference.

John Fox.....out of job.See del rio.
He'll be hired in Cleveland by the end of the week.
Arguing with Lee gives me a headache.
Common sense, if he has any outside of a football conversation, is non-existent.

And that is what people think is comical...that you believe those are all real possibilities to come to LSU if Les Miles left this year. Of course those are all great choices; just not realistic to be at LSU.
Then I guess LSU is really a shite hole of a school. LSU is going to have to settle for some crap arse coach.

You are probably right, same with Fisher, M. Lewis, T. Cable, etc. I'm just trying to point out that my "wish" list is not comical. Those names are all possible.

You really are a jackass. Where has anyone said this? LSU is just going to have to do their homework and hire an up and comer.

You're putting LSU on a pedestal.

Chris Peterson....Boise St...no resepect.
Gary Paterson...umm..TCU....13-0, no national title....
Chip Kelly...probably not, but never know.
Kyle Whittingham...ummm he's at fricking UTAH
Dan Mullen...possible!
Jack Del Rio...possibly out of job
John Gruden...NFL analyst...never know until you ask
John Fox.....out of job.
There's a lot of great coaches on that list. I bolded the ones that are comedy. I don't have to tell you why they aren't really candidates for the LSU job.
Mullen....maybe. Del Rio IF he gets fired. Are either of them earth shattering hires? I don't think so.

Moron, do you fricking read? I admitted that Fox, Del Rio, Fisher, or any other NFL coach on my "WISH" list would unlikely. I know they will get another NFL job. I fricking admitted that.
You are a dumbass for not reading! You headache is your own fault b/c you don't have any fricking common sense to read!
A snow balls chance:
Peterson
Paterson
Whittingham
Mullen
Pelini
Any other college coach....
Ha Ha if hell freezes over:
Gruden
Fox
Fisher
Del Rio
Is that better for you, you fricking idiot!

I think Sark (him recruiting in LA would be awesome), Sumlin, and Whittingham should round out that list.
My fliers would be Jimbo, Patterson, Pellini (he's one I'm not sure how I feel about but would be a solid hire).

Can't remember his name, but he was on Finebaum about a month or two back... works for the NYT.

What the hell is this bullshite? If this is a wish list its about as dumb as if this was a list of guys you really think could come here.

I don't want Bo Pelini representing LSU.

Gary Paterson...umm..TCU....13-0, no national title.... Loves TCU and is going to an easy path to National Title conference.
Easier path you're right. Loves TCU, eh, if another school throws 4 to 5 million at him, he might change is mind.
Doesn't he make like 3 mil now? And he is about to have a really easy path to the BCSCG in the Big East.

John Gruden...NFL analyst...never know until you ask, Miami did and he said no
Doesn't mean the same thing for other schools...
JMO, I really don't think Gruden wants to coach anymore. He seems like he loves being on MNF, but he does enjoy being mentioned as possibilities for jobs.

Add that to the fact that he will be dominating the Big East starting in '12.
That guy isn't going anywhere.
