Once he's to the Big East and finishing undefeated there as well , I think we may be looking at TCU becoming a fricking powerhouse. 2-3 National Championship appearances within the next 10 years, IMO.

WOW....a POWERHOUSE....winning the Big East...and you are crowning TCU a POWERHOUSE....
and you're making fun of me.....

Grant it, they beat Wisconsin, by 2 pts....and didn't Wisconsin's kicker miss a gimmie FG....I mean come on....

He'll never get in the title game with a 1 loss SEC, Big Ten, Pac-10, Big 12 school. The Big East is a joke!

Wait. You just said an undefeated BCS school would not get in over a 1 loss Pac-10, Big Ten, (holy shite, I can't believe you said that), Big 12 school?

I would get the argument for the SEC 1 loss but that's just probably be me being biased.

Foosball is more entertaining with his 5* OL arguments and 4*'s are usually busts.

Who in the Big East will unseat them?

Well, maybe Louisville, but we'll see.

Agreed. They'd be bitchslapping WR's all day long.

Apparently he likes to teach the stop and rob technique that always ends up handcuffing the opponents.

I'm glad you have nothing to do with the AD. Petersen? Really? Because the last BSU guy to go BCS did such a good job! What makes you think he can recruit in the south? He has no ties! Just quit responding!

Since no one who knows (neither Brandon or Harbaugh has spoken or been cited as a source), then all is still speculation. Let me add that current local talk is that maybe Pat Fitzgerald of N'Western may be in the running. Impeccable personal and professional resume, young, defensive mind who also runs a spread on offense. Not saying where he is in the line-up or even if he is on Brandon's list, but some folks are making a connection. JH is still the choice of the fan base, and not much talk anywhere of Les Miles at all.

I think Sark (him recruiting in LA would be awesome), Sumlin, and Whittingham should round out that list.

Another three that should definitely get a strong look.

I'd honestly be happy with any of those six.

another poster put his name down and I completely forgot. Fitzgerald would also be on my list.

If you look at any good team, they likely also have a very experienced team. If I recall TCU has 3/5 OL seniors and 3/4 on the DL. In fact they will lose a lot next year. And like FLA, when you have youth and inexperience you are vulnerable...mistakes, technique, playing under pressure all play heavily into the outcome. TCU will be very good, but also soooo much younger and inexperienced next year. Playing in the BE will help them, not much competition there now, but they will not be 13-0 next year either.

if our list is

Patterson
Fitzgerald
Mullen
Tuberville
Fisher

I wouldn't be terribly unhappy with any of them

Forde said Les and Hoke are options after JH but it was speculation vs inside info

20 out of 74 played significant roles or had significant playing time....so that means 54 or 73% have either played very little, done nothing,or have tranferred b/c they did not pan out. So therefore...MOST 4 stars...are over-rated.

I didn't say he'd be my first choice. I just said he'd make the list...
