Curious how things get started this week? Assume Woodward, BOS members, boosters, governor work together to make a list. Who starts reaching out? Does it cycle through one source of communication?

Assuming the inquiries go directly to agents and not the coach at this point (especially those who are currently coaching?) Likewise from agents representing coaches that are intrigued (or really interested)?

The search started Saturday in my opinion. And yes, coaches are too busy right now to talk to Woody so all communication is strictly with agents I'm sure.

Step 1: check the TD Coaches Changes board.

They will put out feelers to the agents of a variety of coaches. More than you expect. They will gauge level of interest, and what a contract would look like to accept the job, with likely some soft negotiation. In some ways its easier because essentially two agents represent the majority of these guys: Sexton and Armstrong.

They will start vetting guys quietly behind the scenes. Investigators looking into backgrounds, talking to former players and coaches quietly. They will usually attempt to meet with guys quietly if they can (doesn't always happen, as I recall they had minimal meeting time with BK if any). A Zoom meeting on an off day.

I don't think Woodward is going to be involved.

If they fired BK on Sunday, the search started several weeks before. By the time they pull the cord, they've already been putting feelers out.

If it's like most situations, the AD, or in this case whoever is running the show, would have a list of candidates at all times and would already have things in motion and a search agency partner engaged before any firing takes place.

i understand that you think you understand what he is asking but i'm far beyond that understandment and understand that i only give information that matters most to what we are all essentially trying to get into the same house by a different door.
