There's little doubt he'll do the same with the Rams. Tuscaloosa isn't the kind of place you want to live out the rest of your good years. What more is there to do there, at this point? Saban can firmly define himself as the GOAT if he goes to the rams and turns them around.

Saban isn't going back to the NFL. He's the GOAT recruiter and he knows that. Bama won't let him leave for more money. Keep dreaming...

The guy is on top of college football and no one seems capable of knocking him off. If someone comes along that wants to work 20hrs/day, he'll pick up his pace. Urban may think he's catching Saban but I doubt it. He'll have to string together another 5 classes like this years before I'd believe that. Saban will probably be gone by then so Urban better get used to chasing his ceiling...#2. After his cowardly actions at UF, he'd make a perfect #2.

How much would it suck to have your dream coach, who is an alumni, that you knew was looking to leave every year?

Saban is too smart to take an NFL job without an established QB. If he didnt take the Colts job a couple years ago, he's not going anywhere else. NY would have been a good job too.

I hate to break it you since you just ordered your Jim Harbough Sleep-over Jammies, but Harbough to LA is more likely.

Saban isn't cut out for the NFL isn't that obvious . His crazy psychotic behavior doesn't mesh well with professional athletes

If Saban and Bama win the title this year, I could see him considering it. He will have 6 freaking national titles, 7 SEC titles, and done so while maintaining both his programs (LSU and BAMA) as elite upon his departure.

The Rams are flawed, but have talent and Tony Rome might even be available to fix the WB problem there quickly. Also, the division outside of Seattle is mediocre.

Great opportunity, but he won't take it. Especially if tOSU wins the NC and Meyer is only 1 back of him.

Nah. Harbaugh is the new guy for annual NFL rumors. Good luck.

I would hope so, the guy took a team to 3 NFC Championships and 1 Super Bowl in his first 3 years as a head coach. Saban was a 9-7 and 6-10 with no playoff appearances.

Saban's system will not work in the NFL, at least not long term.

As much as I'd love to see N$ leave Bama, Sexton was just trolling the Gumps.

Plus he wants to be called Coach rather than by his name.

The guy learnt his lesson and he's not going back up there.

I would not blame Nick for one more attempt at the NFL and a superbowl. Five years is enough to see if you can do it and after 3 he'll have a good idea if he can and then he can retire.

He'll never be considered one of the all-time greats unless he wins a Superbowl to go along with his Mythical National Championships at Alabama.

I'll give him 2 more years before he tries the pros again. He's starting to get a little too old for his pony boy recruiting shtick.

Not gonna happen. Saban knows "The System" doesn't work with grown men. Plus all the players already have money so it will be hard to convince them to come to L.A.

he is currently the greatest college football coach of all time. And he has a good chance to add another NC to that résumé. He's an all-time great. It's already done. If he never wins another football game again, he's still an all-time great.
