Rumor: Mizzou looking to move on from OC Moore to Petrino

Not the old Petrino, the younger Petrino that is the current OC at Missouri State. Petrino has done really well with a first year FBS team that had zero expectations. Seems like it would be an upgrade for Mizzou.

I haven't paid as much attention this year, but I was under the impression that Kirby Moore was well thought of.

Moore has been a dumpster fire this year and wasn't very good last year. Playcalling and QB development are killing him.

I haven't watched nearly as many games as I used to but in the few games I watched I wasn't aware these were issues. I actually thought the Backup played well when he went in last week.

Backup QB (3rd string actually) is a true freshman and hasn't been tainted yet. All the starting QBs have regressed under Moore when given time.
Drink has been vocal in press conferences he isn't happy with playcalling this year and everyone is unhappy that Moore has gotten our top 2 QBs knocked out for the year on needless QB runs.
