I was talking about this with a friend this morning. Its reverse racism at its finest. Well your not qualified for this job but we have to interview you because of your skin color..

I think the fact that minority coaches have shown they can not only compete as head coaches they can dominate has done more to help minority coaches then the stupid Rooney rule! It needs to go away! The fact that a coach has to be interviewed for a job he has 0 chance of getting makes the rule a complete farce!

Steeler fans should love the Rooney rule for a variety of reasons but namely it's the reason they have Mike Tomlin.

The unfortunate thing about this rule is that even 50 years later no one can remove this rule for fear of offending someone.
That is why it is very necessary to think multiple times before making these rules.
