Short story, it’s Lane’s job to lose right now this very second.

Maybe so and he would probably do well here but I bet sexton is just gonna milk lsu or ole miss dry. Probably be the highest paid coach in a month or 2

What's wrong with that? Lane just doing some hot yoga to keep the body in peak physical condition. He ran into a few Ole Miss fans and was gracious enough to stop for a picture. They just happen to be moderately attractive woman. He's a man of the people!!!

Dillingham Is a fantastic coach. He’d kill it at LSU

Dingle-ham has never been a head coach in the SEC and LSU isn't going to be the school that gives him that opportunity - especially with the shape LSU is in right now. Same with John Sumrall.

Imagine getting Lane and having to play Ole Miss every year for the entirety of his time here. Would be amazing.

Rich people don't worry about this shite. He would be in some gated community with full time security.

What makes him a fantastic coach? He beat two ranked teams last year (BYU and Iowa State) and lost to two unranked teams (Cincinnati and Texas Tech).

This year, he's only played 3 ranked teams and lost to 2 of them (Utah and Houston).

In his defense, he took over a destroyed program from the Herm Edwards years. He's successful despite scholarship reductions, probation, and recruiting restrictions.

They were literally picked last in the conference heading into 2024 after the disaster he inherited and the resulting poor first year. He won it all, then gave Texas a very good game in the playoff. He runs good offense and is very in tune with the new age of college football (NIL, transfer portal, etc.). This year they have taken a step back but are still a solid team. He's a good coach and I think he would do well here.
