Think it would be home run hire, but is this actually being mentioned anywhere as a possibility or are the rumors just a creation of this board?

It’s just people picking up what Pate said on his show about how it could be an NFL guy with all of the resources we’re willing to give out. Nobody knows anything

The LSU admin has been extremely tight lipped on this. Any national media speculation has been just that.
It’s kind of amazing, but it’s been all rumors at this point. We don’t know if Scott has interviewed a single candidate

I have not seen any rumors. Just wishlist from some of us here. I don't hate the idea of Rhule coming. He did great things in college

It's also not new. He's been floated since O was fired. It's just that the Riley rumors overtook EVERYthing.

Yeah and if it was Stoops or Campbell there really wouldn’t have been any reason not to at least announce it yesterday even if they couldn’t be in town for a press conference yet, especially given all of the negative buzz with SC and UF making their hires.
