Is it possible that Jimbo stays? You know, it's really not. I guess it's technically possible until the contract is signed, but it's as close to a zero percent chance as you can get at this point

I actually think Jimbo makes the move.

Regardless, you are clearly delusional and obviously have no idea how this stuff works. Until there is a press conference, the odds are never on your side in trying to lure a coach from a Top20 job to another. Things can literally change in 5 minutes with one phone call.

Jimbo Fisher is currently Florida State’s Head football coach.

That’s from Tuesday, and the poster in question has changed his tune. EVERYONE is saying Jimbo is accepting the A&M offer.

Also, his season isn’t over until Saturday.
Why does that matter? Just curious. The uncertainty isn't doing FSU any favors at all. If they had zero interest in keeping him or countering and he was 100% ready to become an Aggie I can't see why they would wait. Just my .02 cents.

In this case, they really can’t. It’s too far along.

It’s never too far along. Don’t let tweets and message board posts fool you. Most are plants from one side trying to force the other’s hand.

The longer this goes, the more it looks like he is staying at FSU.

FSU cant fire him. They’d owe him 40 million if they did. And he’s not going to do anything until the contract is signed with A&M, which can’t happen, per state law, until after or BOR meeting tomorrow.

I do think Jimbo and FSU will mutually agree that he should not coach Saturday, but I’m not sure about that.

Jimmy Sexton is Jimbo's agent... Nobody will know what's happening until Sexton is finished playing his cards (and he's clearly not done yet.)

And Just FYI, there is no signed contract nor will there be until Sunday at the earliest

There legally cannot be.

Just the opposite, actually. As FSU mods are saying, every hour that goes by without him rejecting A&M makes it harder for him to walk it back. With recruits bailing and fans getting pissed, staying there becomes less and less workable.

You haven't seen his latest posts, he and everyone else that knows or might know anything on Warchant agree that Jimbo is 99% gone

That’s not true. Some of them think he’s 100% gone.

FSU and A&M insiders and posters all saying this basically done but LSU posters say it just can’t be so

Fair enough. I have no sources...but its foolish to think that its 100% until signed. I've come pretty close to bolting my job for Microsoft, General Dynamics, and similarly large outfits only to have a counter offer come in or have something go wrong on the other side. When dealing with one of the most marketable employees in the country in any industry I think a wait and see approach is the most prudent.

But I understand your excitement. Jimbo is a helluva coach imo. I also think Sumlin got a bad rap though. 8 wins in the SEC west isn't exactly awful.

Jimbo Fisher is a moron if he leaves Florida State to go to Texas A&M. It just makes no sense at all.
